The panel (6) has a brace (7), where the panel is partially manufactured from closed-celled, open-celled, mixed-cell and/or integral foam e.g. particle foam. The brace is formed at the foam. The foam contains fibrous reinforcing materials e.g. glass fibers, carbon fibers and rock flours. The foam is manufactured by a molding process, a foam extrusion process, a thermoplastic-foam casting process, a polyurethane foaming process, a reinforced reaction injection molding (RRIM) process and/or a microcellular process. The foam is thermoplastic foam, elastomer foam and/or duroplastic foam. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a service panel.
