<p>NEEDLELESS SAMPLING PORT Abstract A sampling port (100) includes a housing (110) and a valve assembly (130). The housing (110) includes an internal passage (112) through which fluids flow and defines a 5 port (142) in fluid communication with the internal passage (112). The valve assembly (130) is mountable adjacent the port (142) of the housing (110) and includes a bezel (120) having a channel (124) extending therethrough and a bladder (150) mounted adjacent the bezel (120). The bladder (150) includes a bladder base (152) and a bladder stem (154) depending from the bladder base (152) which is at least partially received within the 1o channel (124) of the bezel (120). The bladder stem (154) is movable within the channel (124) of the bezel (120) between a first position substantially preventing fluid flow through the valve assembly (130) and a second position in which a fluid path is established through the valve assembly (130) and in fluid communication with the internal passage (112) of the housing (110). 52 50a 129a 120 ff///###////// /112 154--127 155 ,150</p> |
