The invention relates to a release unit (1) for a dual clutch, comprising a housing (2) that has plurality of housing walls (2a, 2b) having the shape of a circular ring so that two annular chambers are provided concentrically with respect to the axis of symmetry of the release unit. A slave cylinder piston (3, 4) that has the shape of a circular ring and that seals a pressure chamber is arranged in an axially movable manner in each of the annular chambers, said slave cylinder piston being prevented from rotating by an anti-turn mechanism provided between the slave cylinder piston and the housing/housing wall. According to the invention, a drag torque support (11, 12) is arranged on each housing wall associated with a slave cylinder piston (3, 4) and is rigidly connected to said housing wall, wherein the drag torque support (11, 12) is operatively connected to the corresponding slave cylinder piston (3, 4). |
