PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load testing device and a data transmission method capable of transmitting packets including checksum values in full wire rate.SOLUTION: A load testing device used for network device load tests that detect errors in received data using error detection data contained in the received data, includes: a generation part for generating test data; a calculation part for calculating error detection data using data contained in the test data generated by the generation part; an alteration part for altering first field data contained in the test data generated by the generation part; a correction part for correcting second field data contained in the test data altered by the alteration part so that error detection data calculated using the data contained in the corrected test data is the error detection data calculated by the calculation part; and a transmission part for transmitting the test data corrected by the correction part including the error detection data calculated by the calculation part. |
