PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera control unit which can easily select an appropriate camera as a camera for photographing an arbitrary photographing point in a monitoring area where two or more cameras are installed.SOLUTION: A camera control unit includes: a camera display section 241 for displaying two or more camera symbols 35 on a map image 30 on the basis of an installation position of a camera 10; a photographing area display section 243 for displaying a photographing area symbol 36 showing a photographing point P of the camera 10 and an optical path to the photographing point P on the map image 30; a new photographing area designating section 27 for designating a common new photographing point Pn in the camera 10; a provisional photographing area display section 244 for displaying a provisional photographing area symbol 38 showing the new photographing point Pn and an optical path to the new photographing point Pn on the map image 30; a camera selecting section 28 for selecting the camera 10; and a photographing area changing section 29 for changing the photographing point P of the camera 10 selected by the camera selecting section 28 to the new photographing point Pn. |
