PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress mottling occurring on the lower face of a steel plate, in a wet type temper rolling apparatus.SOLUTION: A temper rolling apparatus includes, on an entrance side of a steel plate, a splash prevention cover covering an upper part of a backup roll on the lower side, and a downstream side end part of the splash prevention cover is positioned on the downstream side of a work roll on the lower side rather than a vertical line contacting an upstream side end part of the work roll on the lower side. |
