PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus able to restrict occurrence of image defect in an image transferred to a transfer material from an image holder.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a first guide member 52 and a second guide member 53 configured to guide a transfer material while correcting position where the transfer material enters the surface of a photoreceptor drum 16. The first guide member 52 includes at least a first correcting section configured to correct an entering position in a first area ranging from the front end of the transfer material to the rear half thereof, and a second correcting section configured to correct an entering position in a second area located on the rear end side from the first area of the transfer material. The first correcting section is arranged in a place further upstream of the second correcting section in the moving direction of the transfer material and further separated from the photoreceptor drum 16 than the second correcting section. |
