PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hot rolling equipment with which presence/no presence of the remainder of scraps can be detected when a strip passing-through trouble such as the tail end squeezing of a material to be rolled or the like occurs.SOLUTION: An image processor 12 detects the tail end of a material 8 to be rolled which passes through each finish rolling stand in a hot rolling line and an image of the tail end is displayed on a monitor 13. Accordingly, an operator can monitor presence/no presence of occurrence of the tail end contraction. Further, the image processor 12 displays on the monitor 13, as necessary, continuous pictures picked up in a certain tail end passing period over pickup timing of the tail end picture among the continuous pictures of the material 8 to be rolled picked up by a camera 11. |
