PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a hyaluronic acid composition that has high moisturizing effect for skin and can raise a water content of the skin; and a skin care preparation including the same.SOLUTION: A hyaluronic acid composition is an acid composition that includes: a low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid having at most 100,000 of an average molecular weight and/or a salt thereof; and a cationization hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof so that the content ratio becomes 5:95-80:20 by a mass ratio, wherein an aqueous solution of the hyaluronic acid composition that is prepared so that the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and/or the salt and the cationization hyaluronic acid and/or the salt become 1 mass% in total by a hyaluronic acid conversion dissolves in water without causing a precipitate.
