PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve which is can be easily assembled during manufacturing, and can control damage of valve casing or valve elements.SOLUTION: A gate valve includes a valve casing and a valve element having a core metal 104a and seal member. A plane section of a convex 200 arranged in a side section of the core metal 104a and a plane section h' of a valve casing bottom surface h are brought into surface contact with each other. The core metal 104a is prevented from moving in a direction (Z1 direction) toward the bottom surface h due to the surface contact, thereby maintaining a non-contact state between a bent section R1 of the core metal 104a and the bottom surface h of the valve casing. |
