PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for oil of a volume portion for advancing/retreating an inner tube to/from an oil chamber on the outer periphery of a hollow pipe, with a simple and compact structure, in the front fork.SOLUTION: In a front fork 10, volume compensating flow passages 50 are formed of circular arc-shaped annular flow passages 53 extended in the axial direction of an annular piece 51 laid on the outer periphery of the hollow pipe 22, and the annular piece 51 functions as a check valve for vertically moving along the outer periphery of the hollow pipe 22 between a closing position seated on a bottom part in an outer tube 11 and an opening position separating from the bottom part. |
