PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of suppressing a variation of a control flow rate.SOLUTION: A control valve 30 includes an adjusting mechanism 304 for adjusting a set load of an elastic member (spring 303) and the adjusting mechanism 304 is disposed movably in the axis direction of a spool 302 and includes a retaining member (retainer 305) provided with a retaining part (seat surface 305a) for retaining the elastic member (spring 303) and a tapered part 305d and an adjusting member 306 which is disposed movably in the axis direction having an angle with respect to the axis direction of the spool 302 and provided with a contact part 306b which comes in contact with the tapered part 305d.
