A powdered detergent composition containing: (a) 10-45% by mass, inclusive, of an anionic surface-active agent; (b) 0-9% by mass, inclusive, of a non-ionic surface-active agent; (c) 10-30% by mass, inclusive, of an alkali metal carbonate; (d) 10-40% by mass, inclusive, of an alkali bicarbonate; (e) 0.1-0% by mass, inclusive, of a percarbonate; and (f) 0.1-3% by mass, inclusive, of a bleach activator expressed in general formula (1), where the mass ratio of (b)/(a) is 0/1-1/3, inclusive, the mass ratio of [(c)+(e)]/(d) is 1/2-2/1, inclusive, and the pH of a 0.5% by mass solution at 25°C of the aforementioned composition prepared using a 0.01% by mass solution of glacial acetic acid is 9-10.4, inclusive. This powdered detergent composition can significantly enhance the effect of the bleach activator, thereby making it possible to achieve extremely high bleaching performance with respect to food stains, yellowing, and other such stains on clothing. |
