The electronic device (1) has image sensor unit (11) which is provided with lens module (111) that captures several image frames (20) of one scene. A preprocessing unit (13) is coupled to the image sensor unit, to process the image frame in order to provide focus information (22) of the image frame. An image processing unit (15) is coupled to the image sensor unit and pre-processing unit, to determine shift in focus condition of the image frame. The focus of lens module is adjusted when shift in focus condition of the image frame is satisfied. An independent claim is included for a focus adaptation method for use in electronic device.
