摘要 The concept of Nines, a three-dimensional cubic nine-digit gridded puzzle game is to arrange 27 small numbered cubic blocks into a compact single cube so that each exterior and interior planar surface of the stacked cubic blocks conforms to a completed and unique Sudoku game. Each face on the smaller cubes contains nine non-identical digits (1-9), arranged in three rows and columns. A set of nine digits on one face is presented in a unique combination; every face has a different combination of nine digits, so that every face on all the small cubes contains its own unique horizontal and vertical combination of digits. To solve the puzzle, the 27 smaller cubic blocks must be arranged so that each horizontal row and vertical column of digits on one small cube is aligned with two other contiguous cubes both vertically and horizontally such that the sum of the nine digits in each row and column across the adjacent cube faces equals 45. Nine stacked cubes make either a contiguous vertical wall or horizontal layer such that the digits on the two exposed planar surfaces conform to a solution of a unique Sudoku game. When arranged with the remaining 18 small cubes in two sets of horizontal layers or vertical walls the digits on all sides of the cubes compose other completed and unique Sudoku games. Figure 1.
