PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an increase in sliding resistance of a guide mechanism for guiding a movement in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A vertical guiding device includes a plurality of guide mechanisms 1 which are supplementary mounted to a vertical base isolation system and reduce oscillations in a vertical direction transported from a fixed body 101 to a target object 102 for base isolation, attached to each side of the object 102 and the fixed body 101 and comprising respective guide members (spline nut 2, spline shaft 3). In the guide mechanism 1, an elastic member 5 elastically deformable in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction is interposed at an attachment part (flange 3a or flange 4a) of the guide part (spline shaft 3 or spline nut 2) facing at least one of the object 102 for base isolation and the fixed body 101. |
