PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device for a register allowing a link member or the like to be installed in a narrow space without interference by connecting a pivot of a dial knob of relatively long distance to a turning shaft of a damper plate by the link member of simple structure without projecting the link member from a retainer.SOLUTION: A dial knob 20 is provided with an arm part 21, and a turning shaft 8 of a damper plate 7 is provided with a lever part 9. Between the arm part 21 and the lever part 9, a seesaw-type seesaw link 11 is journaled substantially at the center by a link pivot 23 turnably to a retainer 2. The arm part 21 and the lever part 9 are connected to each other by the seesaw link 11 through the engagement between an engaging pin 22 and an elongate hole 14 and through the engagement between an engaging pin 15 and an elongate hole 9a. In response to the turning operation of the dial knob 20, the seesaw link 11 turns around the link pivot 23 to turn the damper plate 7. |
