PURPOSE: A mothballs composition and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to reduce smell which is harmful for human body. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a mothballs composition comprises the following steps: preparing 80-98wt% of triisopropyltrioxane; preparing empenthrin, profluthrin or 0.1-2 wt% of greater galangal; and mixing the triisopropyl trioxane, empenthrin, profluthrin or greater galangal. The preparation of the triisopropyl trioxane includes a step of reacting isobutyraldehyde with trimethysilyl chloride. The content of isobutyraldehyde is 90-99.7 wt%, and the content of the trimethyl silyl chloride is 0.3 -10 wt%. The manufacturing method adds 0.1-1wt% of aromatic agent. The aromatic agent is flavor of acacia aromatic agent or jasmine flavor aromatic agent. |
