PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-deadening material for a drainpipe having a sound-insulating layer which hardly exhibits impact resilience, and capable of being easily and tightly mounted to an outer periphery of a drainpipe regardless of an external air temperature by keeping flexibility even if a temperature is lowered in the winter.SOLUTION: A sound-deadening material 1 for a drainpipe includes a sound-insulating layer 2, and a sound-absorbing layer 3 laminated on the inner side of the sound-insulating layer, and is tightly mounted to an outer periphery of a drainpipe 4 in which the sound-insulating layer 2 is a sheet of a compound having a specific wight ≥1.5 and obtained by mixing 40-150 pts.mass of a phthalic acid-based plasticizer and 200-800 pts.mass of an inorganic filler having specific weight ≥2.0 in 100 pts.mass of a polyvinyl chloride-based resin, in the sound-insulating layer 2, bending resistance measured according to a 45° cantilever method of JIS L 1086 7.12 Bending Resistance 7.12.1 in an atmosphere at 40±1°C by using a test piece having a thickness of 2 mm and a width of 25 mm is in a range of 100-200 mm, and the sound-absorbing layer 3 is a breathable porous layer. |
