PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form high-precision splines to a side face of a hub unit more simply than before.SOLUTION: On a side face 25 on one side in an axis direction of a rotation wheel 12 which a hub unit 10 has, splines 26, engaged with a joint 30 for transmitting torque to this rotation wheel 12, are formed. Spline grooves 51, 52 are formed on the side face 25 by subjecting the side face 25 to broaching.
