PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable enhancement of power generation efficiency and to facilitate installation work of a wave-power device.SOLUTION: A vertically long slit 2 is formed in a penetrating manner in a wall body 1. A water wheel 3 rotated by waves passing through the slit 2 is installed along the long-side direction of the slit, in the slit 2. A rotating shaft part 4 of the water wheel 3 penetrates a ceiling surface of the wall body along a longitudinal center line of the slit 2. An upper part of the rotating shaft part 4 of the water wheel 3 is supported in the state of being suspended by a second bearing 9 which serves as a radial bearing, and a first bearing 8 which is arranged in an upper part thereof and which serves as a thrust bearing. Thus, since bearing installation work can be completed only on the upper side of the rotating shaft part 4 and the work can be performed above the sea level, the installation work is easy to perform. |
