PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption required for state detection of a user so as to reduce electric power consumption of an entire electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: Presence discrimination means according to the present embodiment discriminates, on the basis of image data output from a camera, whether or not a user is present. Display electric power source control means causes, on the basis of a discrimination result by the presence discrimination means, an electric power source of a display to be in an on-state when it is detected that the user is present, and the electric power source of the display to be in an off-state when it is detected that the user is not present. In parallel with this, detection interval control means sets, under a state that the user is present, a presence detection interval time under the state that the electric power source of a display is turned off to be shorter than the presence detection interval time under the state that the electric power source of the display is turned on. |
