PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device that can detect abnormality due to breakage of an amplification fiber and can be stopped.SOLUTION: A fiber laser device includes: a seed light source; an amplification fiber to which seed light emitted from the seed light source is input; an excitation diode that generates excitation light for exciting the amplification fiber; an abnormal light detection mechanism that takes out a part of light on an optical axis of the amplification fiber and detects light having a wavelength other than wavelengths of the seed light and the excitation light; and a controller for stopping operation of the seed light source and the excitation diode when the light having the wavelength other than the wavelengths of the seed light and the excitation light is detected by the abnormal light detection mechanism. |
