PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a distance between functional surfaces of a plurality of elements to be stuck together while maintaining functionality of a substrate.SOLUTION: A display device is provided with: a first display element including a first terminal substrate corresponding to a display area and a terminal area projected from the display area and a first counter substrate corresponding to the display area; and a second display element including a second terminal substrate corresponding to the display area and the terminal area and a second counter substrate corresponding to the display area. The first display element and the second display element are stuck together such that both of the first terminal substrate and the second terminal substrate are on the opposite side of a sticking surface.
