The subject matter of the present invention is a motorised, modular instrumentation device and an endoscopy system comprising such a device. A motorised, modular instrumentation device for an endoscope comprising at least one operational unit mounted on at least one support structure and integrating a motorised medical instrument module comprising, first, an elongated medical instrument with a tool arranged on one distal end, it being possible to bend the corresponding end portion of the instrument, and second, at least one electrical actuating element controlling the operation of the tool and/or the bending of the distal end portion, by way of transmission means extending within the elongated body of the medical instrument. An instrumentation device (1) characterised in that the means of actuating is/are installed in a hollow body connected to the proximal end of the medical instrument (5) and in that said hollow body is itself arranged, with rotational guiding, within a reception housing (11), said housing being installed with the ability to move, at least translationally, on the support structure (3), the movements of the hollow body and the reception housing (11) being motorised.
