Provided is a conveyor belt winding drum by which a conveyor belt can be transposed with further increased stability and which can be reduced in weight by reducing loads acting on main radial members. Spacers (8) which have a length substantially the same as the width of a conveyor belt (B) wound on a winding core section (2) are provided in a removable manner between the opposing outer peripheral ends of the main radial members (4) of flange sections (3) connecting to circumferential members (6) to which ground contact sections (7) are provided. The bending rigidity of portions of the opposing main radial members (4), the portions being located near the joining portions where the opposing main radial members (4) are connected at the inner peripheral ends thereof to the winding core section (2), is set to be lower than the bending rigidity of the bodies of the main radial members (4). The conveyor belt (B) which has been wound on the winding core section (2) is gripped between the main radial members (4), and as a result, the main radial members (4), the spacers (8), and the conveyor belts (B) are integrated together.
