The method involves calculating electrical resistance of a heating conductor by measured current and measured voltage. The temperature of the heating conductor is calculated from calculated electric resistance and temperature coefficient. The surface temperature of the seat is calculated based on the temperature of the heating conductor. Rules of the surface temperature of the seat are provided by a controller. Calibration of the heating conductor is performed by measurement of detected temperature.
