The device has a support plate (22) connected with a machine pipe (3). Parts of the pipe are connected together over a tension and pressure resistant hinge joint with an integrated seal (17). The pipe exhibits a large diameter that is 1.2-1.5 times larger than a large diameter of a pipeline. A supply line (14) is connected with a nozzle (11) in a region of a cutting wheel (6). A motor (5) is arranged inside the pipe and drives the wheel over a drive shaft (21). A delivery line (26) extends from the region of the wheel inside the pipe.
