PURPOSE: A payment module management device and a method thereof connect a store device and a payment module in order to settle a payment and enhance the security level of a payment settle process by directly proceeding the process with a card company's server. The device and the method also reduce costs by enabling the store device verified by a payment module management device to request the card company' server to settle a payment, and effectively maintain and repair the entire payment system by minimizing changes in existing payment devices and a partner store's environment. In addition, the speed of the payment settle process improves as the store device asks the card company server to settle a payment using the payment module or an integrated payment agent server. CONSTITUTION: Information about a payment is generated (S510) by reading a certain card and is transmitted (S520) to a payment module management device (200). The payment module management device verifies a payment module used to settle the payment with a store device (S550). The payment module is installed in the store device (300).
