摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork type crystal vibration piece which allows for stabilized frequency adjustment while preventing loss of the tuning-fork type crystal vibration piece due to external impact, and to provide a tuning-fork type crystal vibrator using the tuning-fork type crystal vibration piece, and a manufacturing method of the tuning-fork type crystal vibrator.SOLUTION: A tuning-fork type crystal vibration piece 4 includes a base 40, vibration arms 41, 41, and a projection 400. On a set of main surfaces of the vibration arm 41 facing each other, an arm point protective area 43a non contributive to frequency adjustment is provided on the tip side of the vibration arm, and a frequency adjustment area 43b is provided on the root side of the vibration arm for the arm point protective area 43a. The frequency adjustment area 43b is a metal film for adjusting the frequency by mass reduction, and the arm point protective area 43a is constituted of an exposed part 432a of crystal base, and a convex metal buffer part 431a, in the cross-sectional view, formed higher than the exposed part 432a.
