PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination unit capable of more surely making surrounding people recognize the possibility that shaking due to an earthquake arrives.SOLUTION: An illumination unit 1 includes lighting equipment 3 for performing lighting and is attached to a ceiling. The illumination unit 1 further includes an acoustic device 2 for outputting warning sound and an emergency earthquake advance report receiving device 11. When the emergency earthquake advance report receiving device 11 receives an emergency earthquake advance report, the lighting equipment 3 performs an alarm operation, and the acoustic device 2 outputs the warning sound to thereby cause the possibility that shaking due to an earthquake arrives to be notified. |
