PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure which is printed with readable information by an engraving process and sufficiently suppresses chipping and cracking of an outer wall.SOLUTION: A honeycomb structure includes a structure composed of longitudinal rows of cells 20a partitioned by cell walls 20c. The honeycomb structure is printed with information 30 on the honeycomb structure by an engraving process giving the information 30 an engraving depth. The maximum engraving depth of the printed information 30 is 20 to 50% of the average thickness of a part of the outer wall 20d of the honeycomb structure where the information 30 is printed. |
