PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording device for vehicle, capable of recording target data in an appropriate recording condition for each recording trigger.SOLUTION: A data recording device for vehicle comprises: a trigger determination part 1 for determining whether or not a recording trigger condition is established; a recording part 2 for recording, when the recording trigger condition is established, target data at at least one time of a predetermined time before establishment of the recording trigger condition and a predetermined time after establishment of the recording trigger condition into non-volatile recording means 3 on the basis of a recording resolution, a recording range, and the number of samples which are previously set; a variation calculation part 4 for calculating a variation width of target data corresponding to a prescribed number of times, which is recorded in the non-volatile recording means 3, when the recording trigger condition for a previous time or earlier is established; and a recording condition change part 5 for changing at least one of the recording resolution, the recording range, and the number of samples set in the recording part 2 on the basis of the variation width. |
