PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module having a structure that reduces fluctuations of optical coupling strength against a force from the exterior.SOLUTION: A lid 23 includes a seal part 23c provided around a ceiling part 23d supporting an optical window 23b, and the seal part 23c of the lid 23 is thinner than the ceiling part 23d. A second ring part 19b of a seal ring 19 includes a protruding part 19d protruding from a support surface 19c of a first ring part 19a. While the seal part 23a of the lid 23 is hermetically sealed by a second support surface 19e of the protruding part 19d of the second ring part 19b, a support part 5a of the holder 5 is supported by the support surface 19e and extends in a first direction. A mounting part 5b of the holder 5 is provided at the support part 5a of the holder 5. An optical component 2 is mounted on the mounting part 5b. Since the lid 23 is separated from the holder 5, a force applied from the optical component 2 to the holder 5 is transmitted from the seal ring 19 to a frame body 17 without being transmitted to the lid 23. |
