PURPOSE: A client device implementing middleware interlinking heterogeneous game experience type exercise machines with various game content and a control method thereof are provided to maximize the satisfaction of a user by standardizing different measurement signals generated in heterogeneous exer-game exercise machines. CONSTITUTION: A central control part (26) receives an exercise machine model number, a human interface device (HID) signal profile for each application, and various measurement parameters used for calibration to provide them. A calibration part (25) calibrates measurement values inputted from an exercise machine control unit by using the measurement parameters and calibrates torque control data. An application profile part (27) converts the measurement value into an HID signal and delivers the converted HID signal to the application. A personal data part (28) calculates personal exercise data and delivers the data to an exercise management server.
