ELEVATOR DOORWAY DEVICE

An elevator doorway device has an elevator door which opens and closes the doorway. A doorway frame is provided to the left, right, and upper parts of the doorway. A light emitter is mounted to the doorway frame. The light emitter emits light to call attention of users at the landing and within the elevator car to the operation of the elevator door. Also, the light emitter is mounted to the doorway frame so as to protrude from the surface of the doorway frame. A light emitter control unit controls the light emitter in synchronisms with the operation of the elevator door.
