PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package box for a reagent container which is capable of suppressing damage of a corner part of the reagent container.SOLUTION: A package box 1 (package box for a reagent container) includes an outer box 2 for housing the reagent container 10 and a shock absorbing material 3 arranged between the reagent container 10 and the outer box 2 in the outer box 2. The shock absorbing material 3 includes relief parts 60a (60b) formed of a notch part or a hole part formed in a portion corresponding to the corner part 13 of the reagent container 10 housed within the outer box 2.
