PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type drying machine that prevents a periphery of a housing from becoming an unpleasant environment such as a hot and humid environment even when a part of exhaust air is discharged from a drying chamber to the outside of the housing.SOLUTION: The heat pump type drying machine comprises: the housing having the drying chamber therein; a heat pump that circulates a cooling medium so as to be compressed in a compressor, condensed in a condenser and evaporated in an evaporator; an air circulation path that is provided in the housing, has a circulation fan, introduces air heated in the condenser into the drying chamber by action of the circulation fan to dry an article to be dried in the drying chamber, and circulates exhaust air from the drying chamber so as to be dehumidified in the evaporator and then heated again in the condenser; a drain tank that is provided in the air circulation path and stores water dehumidified in the evaporator; and an exhaust duct that is provided so as to communicate with the air circulation path and discharges a part of the exhaust air from the drying chamber to the outside of the housing. The exhaust duct has a heat exchange part that exchanges heat between the circulating exhaust air and an ambient air at the outside of the housing. |
