PURPOSE: An anion generating device for an internal combustion engine is provided to increase anion generation efficiency because an ionizing substance is actively shaken by the discharged pressure of high pressure air and the movement of bubbles generated when external air is discharged to the liquid-phase ionizing substance in a compressed state. CONSTITUTION: An anion generating device for an internal combustion engine comprises an anion generating tank (110), a compressed air supply part (120), a pressure tank (130), and a supply pipe (140). A liquid-phase anion generating substance is accommodated in an internal space (110b) of the anion generating tank. A discharge port of the compressed air supply part is arranged inside the internal space of the anion generating tank. The compressed air supply part supplies compressed air to the anion generating substance to generate bubbles. The pressure tank is connected to the anion generating tank by a connection pipe and compresses and stores mixed gas in which air and anions generated in the anion generating tank are mixed. The supply pipe supplies the mixed gas stored in the pressure tank to an air intake port of the internal combustion engine. The generation of the anions is stimulated while the anion generating substance is moved by the compressed air bubbles discharged from the discharge port. |
