PURPOSE: Transcription paper and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a loss phenomenon of ink during a transcription process, and to prevent the breakdown of resolution. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of transcription paper comprises the following steps: preparing raw paper (S100); preparing a first coating material containing a pigment component for storing ink, and an adhesive and fusing component to be adhered to the raw paper (S200); coating the first coating material on the raw paper to produce a separable coating layer (S300); and coating ink on the surface of the coating layer to form an image by penetrating the ink through the first coating layer (S400). The transcription paper is formed of the raw paper, and a coating layer containing the pigment component and the adhesive and fusing component. The ink is penetrated into the coating layer by the pigment component.
