PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an oil filter that removes an impurity of deep-frying lees or the like in cooking, and controls decrease of convenience of a fryer by interruption or the like of cooking; and a fryer.SOLUTION: An oil filter 20 used for a flat bottom fryer in which an oil tank 6 is heated from the lower side, and oil in the oil tank 6 can be filtered during heating the oil tank 6, includes: a circulation channel 21 to circulate the oil; a pump 24 provided on a way of the circulation channel 21 and making the oil flow; and a filter element 26 that filters the oil being provided on a way or an end of the circulation channel 21. As a result, an impurity can be removed in cooking while heating the oil tank 6, and decrease of convenience of the fryer by interruption or the like of cooking can be prevented. |
