PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport unit capable of preventing any damage or breakage of rectangular thin plate panels while they are stacked and transported, and storing the panels stably.SOLUTION: A transport unit for rectangular thin plate panels includes a transport pallet on which lower most sets of corner members 11 are placed while stacking, in a columnar form, the corner members each supporting each corner part of the rectangular thin plate panel from the lower side, and a pair of regular shape shock-absorbing spacers 100 provided on facing edges of the rectangular thin plate panel, respectively. The shock-absorbing spacer includes a body part and a positioning part. In adjacent rectangular thin plate panels stacked in the vertical direction, this body part has: a placing bottom face to be placed on a top face of the lower rectangular thin plate panel, on a bottom part of this body part; and an abutting top face to be abutted on a bottom face of the upper rectangular thin plate panel, on a top part of this body part. The positioning part has parts to be engaged with each other in the vertically adjacent shock-absorbing spacers, and a clearance is formed between a bottom side of the positioning part of the upper shock-absorbing spacer and the positioning part of the lower shock-absorbing spacer. |
