PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which restrains an undesired sharp local bend of a lead tab extending from the top face of an electrode body, thereby restricting increase in internal resistance value due to drop impact and the occurrence of a fault such as short-circuiting at the time of an abnormal charge.SOLUTION: A cathode lead tab 11 extending upward in the Z axis direction from a center portion in the X axis direction of an electrode body 10 passes through a notch 40b cut in a resin spacer 40 and is bent in shape of a crank before being joined to an outer can 20 and a sealing plate 30 at an opening edge of the outer can 20. Here, when the resin spacer 40 is viewed in a X-Z cross section, an inner edge face 40c facing on a curved depth portion of the notch 40b is a slope inclined in a direction, relative to the Z axis direction, linking a root portion at which the cathode lead tab 11 starts extending from the electrode body 10 and a portion at which the cathode lead tab 11 is joined (portion indicated by an arrow B). |
