Provided is a method for producing a nitrile copolymer rubber composition that contains a nitrile copolymer rubber, a layered inorganic filler, a vinyl chloride resin, and a plasticizer, the method being characterized by comprising adding 10-100 wt% of a total amount of plasticizer used and 0-100 wt% of a total amount of layered inorganic filler used to an aqueous dispersion of the vinyl chloride resin to prepare an aqueous dispersion (A) of the vinyl chloride resin containing the plasticizer, mixing together an aqueous dispersion (B) of the nitrile copolymer rubber, which may contain the plasticizer and/or the layered inorganic filler, and the aqueous dispersion (A) of the vinyl chloride resin, and thereafter solidifying the mixture to produce a crumb and then filtering and drying the crumb.
