PURPOSE: An earphone with a protective cover is provided to guarantee durability and the reliability of operation. CONSTITUTION: An earphone comprises a protective cover (6), a magnetic body (5) and a hook (1). The protective cover is hinged in order to be moveable to one side at an end side of a housing (3) and arranged to cover a part in which a speaker of the housing is arranged when the protective cover is closed. The magnetic body fixes the protective cover on the housing in condition in which the protective cover is opened. The hook fixes the protective cover on the housing in condition in which the protective cover is closed. The housing includes a recess type hooking unit (2) which is attached to the hook in condition in which the protective cover is closed and a fixing unit (4) which is combined with the magnetic body by magnetism in condition in which the protective cover is opened. |
