The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method for controlling same, and the method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: confirming an occurrence of page flipping, which changes a page displayed on a display portion from a first screen page loaded on a first screen buffer to a second screen page loaded on a second screen buffer; capturing the second screen page when the page flipping occurs; and transmitting the second page that is captured to a display terminal. According to the present invention, an advantage of reducing data transmission amount required for outputting a synchronized screen on the display terminal can be provided. Also, an advantage of reducing usage of a central processing unit (CPU) can be provided by compressing image data that is transmitted to the display terminal through a hardware-based processing device, such as a graphic processing unit (GPU). |
