PURPOSE: An object management system capable of using content with a variety of service device, and a method thereof are provided to apply the extended object structure based on the base object structure and register and manage each object corresponding to content information by type, thereby providing reference and reuse services for the registered content information to users connected through various devices. CONSTITUTION: A service device (100) connects to an application service according to the request of users. An object management device (200) defines the base object structure for the registration of objects according to content information selected by application services and sets up the extended object structure. The object management device extracts and provides a corresponding object according to the calling of the registered object.
