PURPOSE: An arc flash detection man-machine interface (MMI) is provided to accurately produce arc flash energy which can be changed according to various conditions, thereby effectively performing warning and disaster prevention according to the arc flash energy and a distance. CONSTITUTION: An MMI outputs setting information, which includes at least one of a setting value inputted in a setting input step, a sensing value detected by a sensor, and a calculation value calculated by using the setting value or the sensing value, to an information providing area (100). The MMI outputs a protection range calculated by using at least one of the setting value, the sensing value, or the calculation value and an area mark for dividing a boundary distance defined by the protection range in a distance range unit to an information providing area (200). Distance ranges consist of the multiple. Each of the distance ranges is classified by sectioning a relative distance from a measured object according to a risk class.
