PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber for a vehicle capable of preventing oil leakage caused by damages on a piston rod.SOLUTION: An annular recessed groove 12a is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a piston rod 12. The recessed groove 12a is formed in such a manner that when the piston rod 12 is in a full stroke, an upper end sliding part 13b of a sealing member 13 is located at a cylinder side of an upper end edge 12c of the recessed groove 12a and also located at an opposite side to the cylinder of a lower end edge 12d. |
