PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine having a simple structure with reduced amount and weight of a material used and capable of decreasing noises leaking from a suction opening while ensuring a cooling air flow rate.SOLUTION: A construction machine comprises at least an engine (21), a heat exchanger (20), a cooling fan (22), a sheath material (25) surrounding the above-described elements, and a vent hole (26) provided in the sheath material and for taking in outside air into the sheath material. In the construction machine, a shielding plate (31) for covering the vent hole is provided so that the shielding plate is inclined at a prescribed angle &thetas; with respect to a plane having the vent hole among the sheath material inside the sheath material and provided with a prescribed distance D from the plane. |
